What hole do you have the most fun with at Elsham, apart from the 19th,? I would nominate the 3rd hole because of the dogleg and the sloping green. How many times have I had the ball roll back down the slope or had to putt downhill when the location is at the bottom and I have over hit . Sometimes the putt requires a similar approach to the 16th at Augusta. Start your putt off at right angle and pray the slope takes it down and not too far. From the tee I have sprayed it right and left I have even been in the bunker off the whites when the ground was hard, I have tried to plot my way round using course management and accept that getting on in 3 with 2 shots in my pocket was the right way but to no avail. So in future I think I will use the John Daley approach to grip it and rip it. Any one else have a hole they like playing the best, keep it clean please.
